Patrick Cantlay’s slow pace of play isn’t going over well with the fans. There has been a lot of talk since The Masters and this past weekend at RBC there were a number of videos being shared mocking his slow pace and clearly Patrick’s caddie was feeling some frustrations…

I had to look at the fans in the background to make sure this wasn’t looped. MLB just instituted a pitch clock and the PGA might need to update their rules because this is brutal.
He’s going to have to correct this fast because it’s trending in a negative direction. He should take a page out of Max Homa’s book…
… a quick “I’m sorry” and picking it up a bit would work wonders. Cantlay is one of the top young players in the game that fans want to root for but this pace can quickly ruin that.
